Data Deletion Instructions — English

This page explains how to request deletion of data collected by the identity-submission service at yakirbason.co.il/id, operated by Yakir Bason Pension Insurance Agency (2022) Ltd. (Company No. 516629532), Totzeret Ha'aretz 3, Petah Tikva, Israel.

Automatic deletion, no request needed. ID card photographs are automatically deleted within 7 days of the case being closed, by a scheduled daily process. Images uploaded in a submission that was not completed are deleted automatically within 7 days. The one-time verification code is stored only as a one-way hash, is valid for five minutes and is deleted as soon as it is used; the verification record is deleted when the submission completes, and in any case within 48 hours of its last use. The phone number and the conversation with the assistant are deleted 90 days after the case closes.

How to request deletion. You may request deletion of all your data at any time, without giving a reason:

What to include. Please state the phone number used for verification so we can locate your record. No further documentation is required. To make sure the request comes from you, we may contact you on that number (for example on WhatsApp) before acting on it.

What is deleted. Both ID card photographs; the details submitted (ID number, first and last name, gender, date of birth, expiry date); the phone number and verification record; the conversation with the assistant on WhatsApp; and technical data collected during submission. The request also covers copies passed to the agency's client-management systems and its WhatsApp provider. Where Israeli law or regulation requires a minimum retention period for part of the data, only that legally mandated portion is retained, you will be informed, and everything else is deleted.

Timeline. Requests are handled and answered within 30 days at the latest, usually sooner. A confirmation is sent once deletion is complete.
